Our flagship Protect Pay policy is aimed at keeping your money safe.

All transfer of money taking place either by Online payment or Cash on delivery are secured by the Protect pay policy.

What does ProtectPay stand for?

Before the dispatch/delivery of the product

ProtectPay guarantees refund of the money you have paid for the product and gives you full flexibility to cancel your order till the time product is dispatched – No questions asked. For Cancellation Policy Click here 

After the dispatch/delivery of the product

  • Your payment will be held with ProtectPay till the time product is delivered and you are completely satisfied with the product quality.
  • Seller’s payment is released only when you confirm the product has been received by you in good condition. 
  • In case we do not hear back from you within 7 days of product delivery, we feel it would be fair to assume that you are satisfied with the product quality, size, physical condition & specification of the product, and will release the payment to the seller. 
  • In case you are not satisfied with the product delivered and inform ProtectPay within 7 days of delivery, ProtectPay will resolve your complaint end-to-end within 30 days from the day the complaint is raised.
  • When a complaint is raised for a delivered product, the seller is paid only after the issue is resolved and you are satisfied with the resolution.

What does ProtectPay cover?

  • You have paid for the product but didn't receive it
  • You have received a damaged/defective product or a product that does not comply with the specifications as per your original order
  • You have received a product with which you're not satisfied because of fit/size

How do you receive your refund through ProtectPay?

ProtectPay shall refund payment by providing you Store Credits for amount paid for all orders including Cash on Delivery or Prepaid orders through Internet Banking/ Debit / Credit Card.

Exchange Conditions

Exchange/Alternate Product Conditions:

In case you are not fully satisfied about the size/fit of a product, The Global Shop will gladly help in the exchange of the product for another size, subject to fulfilment of following conditions:- 

  • Product(s) need to be unused, unaltered, unsoiled, original condition with their original tags including but not limited product bar code, price tag etc; and packaging intact

Exchange/Alternate Product is not given for the following:

  • In the interests of hygiene, The Global Shop may refuse returns where it's obvious that the item has been worn, washed or soiled
  • Returns shall not be accepted for innerwear and lingerie due to intimate nature of products and hygiene
  • Products that are sold as sets/combos cannot be exchanged as individual items
  • In case the size requested is out of stock, ProtectPay will issue Store Credits of the same amount, using which you can order any other product from The Global Shop
  • Returns shall not be accepted for made to order products like customized mattress & carpets, customized furniture , customized jewellery etc


When can I return the product received from 

You can return the product if:

  • You received a faulty/defective product
  • You received a physically damaged product
  • You are unhappy with the product quality
  • The product is different from description on the website
  • There is Size/Fit issue

Is there any item not eligible for return/replacement? 

  • All items which can be resold are always eligible for return. The following items are not eligible for return/replacement:
  • Items that have been worn/washed/soiled
  • Innerwear, lingerie cannot be returned on account of hygiene
  • Products which were sold as combos/sets, are not eligible for return/replacement as individual items

What are the Terms and Conditions for return/replacement? 

  • Products must be in their original condition
  • Only unused, unaltered, unsoiled products with their original tags will be accepted
  • Brand packaging should be intact
  • If the product value is less than Rs. 1000, amount will be refunded in SD cash which can be used in parts or fully in the next 1 year
  • Replacements will be made basis availability of that product on the website
